Joshua Tree National Park Jeep Couple Session

Ok Ok this session was a full circle moment! Stay tuned and let me explain! You are not going to want to miss this story!

A few years ago (2018 I believe) I randomly threw out on social media that I wanted to spend more time on the West Coast. A friend that lived in LA reached out and was like come spend a few weeks with me in California. Now at the time this was not a friend I was super super tight with but we had hung out on multiple occasions and had a bunch of mutual friends. Fast forward to now and she is one of my good friends! Haha So after she reached out I said ok but If I come out it has to be a work trip as well. I need to find some couples to shoot and she replied I have 4 couples lined up already! I was just like ok this was meant to be and bought a plane ticket and flew out. On this trip out west I was getting to visit Joshua Tree National Park for the very first time. At the time of my trip my friend’s friend Mel had recently become single and decided to tag along on our adventure to Joshua Tree. The park is about a 3 hour drive from LA and our trip was filled with In-n- Out and date shakes. Do not ask me, I do not know. The shakes must be a California thing or my friend thing at the very least haha. Anyways after our adventure and after some time apart to figure something out Mel got back with her boyfriend Destin. Now let us fast forward to March 2021 and I was able to capture Mel and Destin in Joshua Tree National Park just a few months before their second Wedding anniversary! Full circle moment right?!? I Mean honestly it's like a hallmark romcom story!
